Screamo/crust/(post)hardcore

First album for this band from Tarbes (French Pyrénées), inspired by anticipation novels (Orwell's 1984 and Huxley's Brave New World). Conscious and poetic lyrics, screamed over melancholic punk/hardcore/screamo reminding of the best songs from Daïtro, Mihai Edrisch or Amanda Woodward, and spaced by sonor samples from movies.

The band is a trio composed of a singer, a drummer, and a guitarist playing on a tampered instrument (guitar and bass strings, playing on 2 guitar amps and 1 bass amp at the same time, creating an incredible sound!).

Their live shows are pretty rare but always sincere and passionate, we are truly happy for helping them releasing this record!

(and the object is fabulous, the cover is screenprinted b hand, the lyrics sheet is a zine with many things to read, and includes a patch for the crusts and a bookmark for book nerds, perfect)

Premier album du groupe Tarbais, fortement et librement inspirés des romans d'anticipation ("1984" d'Orwell et "Le Meilleur des Mondes" d'Huxley en tête). Des textes conscients et poétiques, déclamés sur fond de punk/hardcore/screamo mélancolique rappelant le meilleur de Daïtro, Mihai Edrisch ou Amando Woodward, le tout parsemé d'extraits sonores de films.

A noter que le groupe est un trio chant + batterie + guitare bidouillée (ajout de cordes de basse et sortie sur 2 amplis guitare et un ampli basse en même temps, pour un son incroyable!).

Des concerts assez rares mais toujours intenses, sincères et passionnés, on est plus qu'heureux de participer à la sortie de ce disque!

(et pour couronner le tout l'objet est superbe, pochette sérigraphiée à la main, livret format zine avec plein de trucs à lire, patch de crust et marque-page d'intello, parfait)
